Dorsia is a travel discovery and planning app. They came to us wanting to transform the existing rudimentary app into a useful and beautiful digital product with the new brand we created previously.
I worked closely with a design lead to bring the new brand to life in their product. During this process, we also improved the user experience and introduced new features to make it more personalized and user-friendly.

Dorsia Team

Places

When the user lands into the app, they can see curated places near their location. Each of these location is hand-picked by the staffs of Dorsia. When the user selects a place, they can see curated photos, a description, basic info, reviews from critics, as well as acknowledgements that shows their quality.

Neighborhood

When people travel, different neighborhoods have different things to offer. Dorsia lets users select a neighborhood to narrow down the places that are iconic to the area.

Filters

Users can also filter by different services that places offer. Dorsia also offers a filter for places that have received a badge of the Dorsia standards, which really highlights the curation aspect of their service.

My collections

Among these great suggestions, users need a way to keep a record of the places they want to remember. By favoriting a place, users can save places in their collections.

The Corner

Dorsia offers more than just the ratings that you see on Google Maps. They have an opinion about what places are the important places to visit. In The Corner, Dorsia curators share their expertise on travel and experiences in different cities.

Itineraries & Guides

The written content is also available on the map so that users can actually experience it. An itinerary lets users follow a route to experience multiple places at once. A guide is more of a list of locations grouped under a specific theme that users can check out over time.

Custom Itineraries

Of course, traveling is a personal experience. Dorsia brings their magic of curation even in creating personalized itineraries. The app recommends the perfect additions to your itinerary when you choose a couple places and the amount of time you’d like to spend.
